There isn't a right way - there's only a way that's right for you.
There's certainly a wrong way to train, but, for the most part, there is no one correct method to run fast and feel good doing it.
Adhering to specific training philosophies is great as they provide clear and predictable structures that make it easy for the mind to execute.
However, you don't have to follow them.
In fact, you might discover that you've found a way to make progress that is different from what you've read in books or on the internet, and different from what your peers are doing.
And that's okay!
Continue to learn and apply different strategies to elevate your performance year over year, but don't be easily persuaded by the hype that surrounds you.
What matters is that what you're doing works for you!
