If you miss a run or a workout, or you just have a bad day and need to cut the run short, you should let it go and focus on your next run.
Initially, your mind might think otherwise, but the last thing you want to do is think in terms of making up your workout by doing it again in the afternoon, trying again the next day, or adding miles to make up for lost time.
This is a detrimental habit to fall into, and most of the time, it only deepens the hole.
The right thing to do is let it go, wipe your slate clean, and prepare yourself for what’s next on your schedule.
This is an elite mindset
